ITS STREET PARTY!!! sms phones rang 'off the hook'? No time to reply or take calls.

9.30pm

YES, ITS DONE DEAL!! Hugs and kisses all round, Everyone in the street forgotten about

races or colours. All round congratulations to 'anything' that walks on the street. Any within

minutes after that, motorbikes, cars, lorries, buses started to appear and the sound was....

Sudah Menang, Sudah Menang!!

Here they come, take the street.

9.20pm

About 1,700, no its 2,000, no, its 2,100. I'll say no more than 2,500 someone call out.

Then someone heard and word pass around that according to, who else RPK, its about

2,600, is still unofficial then. By this time excitmet already built up and momentum to

dance the street were all but evident by groups of people.

9.15pm

Results coming in from various sources, as usual no one has the exact figures, but adrenaline

were leaking through lips of local folks and the atmosphere and energy could be felt throughout.
