An Electrifying Moment At Jalan Sultan Zainal Abidin

The Morning of Kuala Terengganu By-Election.

As early as 7.00 am, the crowd made their appearance to occupy the shoulder of the road. As the crowd swelled, the police had a tough time maintaining control as the surge became dangerous to the passing traffic.

The teasing, taunting and jeers were similar to the Permatang Pauh by-election, all done in good faith. Of course there were times where situation could have turned ugly and thanks to the officers from the both sides calming them down.

Man, woman and child made a beeline and the antics were amusing from those who were carried away by the atmosphere of the by-election.

It was a rich experience to see the people want the change and the “could not help it” feeling was the way how PAS mobilized their supporters to make it happened.

By feeling the atmosphere in that morning, it was the support that gave a clear indication of winning the battle for the Opposition.

Jalan Sultan Zainal Abidin was overwhelmed with supporters from Barisan Nasional and PAS. This was the busiest road with more than a thousand supporters lined on both sides of the road near to the polling centre.
