KT By-Election – What The People Want.

OPPOSITION DOES NOT MEAN ANTI-GOVERNMENT. OPPOSITION MEANS TELLING THE GOVERNMENT WHAT AND WHERE HAVE GONE WRONG AND THE IMMEDIATE ACTIONS EXPECTED.

THE GOVERNMENT CAN NEVER BE ALWAYS RIGHT. THE GOVERNMENT HAS TO LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE AND HELP THEM IRRESPECTIVE OF THEIR POLITICAL IDEOLOGY.

NO MATTER WHO RULES THE COUNTRY, THE REVERENCE FOR THE FEDERAL PARLIAMENTARY MONARCHY IS A MUST.

IN THE CONSTITUTIONAL LAW, THE EXECUTIVE IS THE BRANCH OF THE GOVERNMENT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DAY-TO-DAY MANAGEMENT OF THE COUNTRY. MALAYSIA, LIKE THE OTHER COUNTRIES, THE EXECUTIVE IS REFERRED AS THE GOVERNMENT.

TODAY, ALL MALAYSIANS COULD SEE WHAT HAS HAPPENED IN THE BARISAN GOVERNMENT.

CORRUPTIONS, INFLATIONS AND THE INTERNAL SECURITY ACT.

PKR's information chief Tian Chua today challenged Datuk Wan Farid Wan Salleh to explain his stand on several controversial issues when he was the Deputy Home Minister before resigning to stand in the KT by-election.

The demand is on Wan Farid to give reasons against holding peaceful public rallies and the public's right to freedom of expression; and why the Malaysian newspapers must go through the hassle of renewing their printing permits every year.

The push for the set up of the Independent Police Complaints and Misconduct Commission (IPCMC) to fight corruption at the highest level of the police force, and why the government failed to resolve the problem of illegal immigrants in Sabah. (Quoted).

When people take to the street in a peaceful manner, the police should allow them the avenue to assemble as guaranteed in the Federal Constitutions. But the incident was met with uncalled show of power.

This photo was taken inside the police truck on the November 09 2008. The wanton disregard for a peaceful assembly calling for the abolishment of ISA had 23 men and women arrested.

The 2004 landslide victory for Barisan Nasional was a heaven-sent gift to the new PM because of Tun Mahathir’s factor. People wanted Tun to go and Mr.Clean took office without any obstacles. Just like any prodigal son, his paranoia grew to believe that he was untouchable.

What have M.C.A. and Gerakan done? As scandalous as Umno, they have nothing much left to convince their members to hold their horses. Yes, they held their horses but jumped the chariots to give the Opposition the five states. Any smart leader will abandon the sinking ship, and yes, the M.C.A. leader is smarter because he sailed away in a dinghy leaving Gerakan on a balancing act.

The swelling crowd at KT ceremah(s) each night speaks for itself that the people in Kuala Terengannu too will follow what Permatan Pauh had done.
