RPK's Habeas Corpus Appeal: Solidarity Plea

Shin appeal to all Anak Bangsa Malaysia to come out from your comfort zone to show solidarity to RPK on his next court hearing on 23rd February 2008 @ 9.00am at the Palace Of Justice, Presinct 3, Putrajaya (Direction: click here for map. Tips: When you're in Putrajaya follow signage that lead you to Presinct 3, once your in Presinct 2 and 3 look out for a building with a big huge Islamic dome, as picture below. Ample parking bay next to the building).

He has sacrifice so much for a better Malaysia for us. In his walk for justice, peace and a better Malaysia for all, he earn also himself a string of court cases that no one person has ever earn at any one time. Should The Court rule in favour of the appeal, RPK will be send back to detention in Kamunting. On his latest article "Probably my last message to Malaysians" an excerpt as below says..... "I shall refuse all medical treatment and visits to the hospital. I shall refuse to accept any food and water supplied by the Kamunting authorities. I shall refuse to leave my cell or to meet any of the prison authorities. In short, I shall shut myself out from the world and keep to my own world of my eight feet square cell. This action will mean I shall survive at the most seven to eight days. By the end of that period I shall be dead. I am prepared for that."

Shin does not wish to attend his funeral, he is one man that does not deserve to die in such a horrible place without friends and family beside him when he breathe his last breath. Shin can't bear to visualise his slow, painful and lonely death in a dungeon cell. Shin really hope that he will retract what he has utter.

We should all pray for him to be able to walk with us again in our struggle for a better Malaysia in the many months and years to come. Pray that he will die of old age in the loving arm of his wife, his children and grand children. Pray that despite all odd, the judges will rule in favour of RPK. Pray that God give wisdom to his team of counsel to argue the case. Pray for devine intervention. Pray that good overcome the evil. Let us all come together to PJ Dewan Sivik this Sunday at 8.00pm to pray for RPK. It does not matter if you are Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, Bahai, Christian etc etc. We just pray in our own faith in our own special way. I guess that's the least we could do for this man. Judging from today hearing, all arguments does not seems to favour RPK (View video below).

Shin was disappointed with the turnout in support for RPK. This is a far cry from the turnout on 7th November 2008 when the Shah Alam High Court freed RPK. He need us to stand solid behind him in this most crucial moment of his life. So PEOPLE can you sacrifice one day of your working day for RPK on this 23rd (Monday), for what RPK had done for us. Do not worry about space, Palace Of Justice can accommodate 10 times the number of turnout on that day RPK was released. We have lost Shukree and Markus, we does not want to loose RPK. Why do good people left early and the bad ones seems to live forever? Sigh.
